Kyrgyzstan will always honor the memory of its sons and daughters who died in World War II. To prove it they created the grand memorial dedicated to the Great Victory in the city center: three massive granite arches merge forming a silhouette of a yurt. In the center of the composition there is a soldier's mother who is waiting for her son to return from the war. The square on which the memorial stands is called the Victory Square. There, festive events dedicated to the Victory Day are held.
